For the kind and encouraging words, boys! I cut leather for the next project last night, a slim jim type this time w/ a bit of border stamping, hope for good results again.........stay tuned for pics.......... Smile

Second try, I chickened out on the toe plug ( really wanted to, no self confidence... ) but it did come out slim and trim. Started next one already, Christmas gift for a lady shooter friend o' mine, then maybe before the spring..........slim jim for my 3rd model Dragoon, wid'a toe plug and ..........lined........?

Here's how I been wearin' that first rig, wid a Cabela's Hickock holster cross - draw, and a standard cap pouch..........

Here's that holster I made as a Christmas gift................snugglin' my 1860 Army.....................pattern from an old Tandy leather " hogleg holsters pattern pack " that I lucked onto on ebay..............ALL this is just to say, if I can do it, anybody can do it, START CUTTIN' AND STITCHIN' BOYS!...................( eh, Ned? )
