I am about to try and start a bp program with a Christian outdoors organization that puts on free shoots for kids. They don't have any gear except what I would bring with me, and that isn't much. Does anyone know of any organizations that would donate guns and/or accessories to such an organization?

Thanks for the help.

Howdy Mr. Bull,
Just what all are you looking for?
Rifle stuff?
Pistol stuff?
Revolver stuff?

Well, right now just rifles and rifle stuff. I found out today that they are now affiliated with Texas Parks and Wildlife, so they may some rifles that we can borrow. I only have one and my son has one. With the number of kids that show up at these shoots, that may not be enough.

Hi RoaringBull,
For your donations, can you furnish a Federal Tax exemption form? What's the name of the Christian organization? Do they have a webpage? Where will the shoots take place? What's the name of the TP&WD program?

I'm active in the Challenged Outdoorsmen of America is the reason I ask these questions. To get donations from companies I'll need this information.

Good luck with the program

Not that I am aware of. I was under the impression that there is a membership, but the shoots are put on for kids that come out to the ranch on the first Sat of the month. I will check into why there is a pricelist.

The price list is for groups of people to come in and use the range, guns, etc. for a private affair. This is the only other way we have of getting money to allow 200 kids a month to come out and shoot pistols, rifles, bows all day long and eat lunch all for free. That number is no exaggeration, last month there was 176 kids that signed in at the gate. We are expecting 250 this month.

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. If I was any more busy I would have to clone myself. I did go to my first shoot with Mission Outdoors this Sat. We had 198 visitors. I loaded my Kentucky 100 times. We had 5 boys come forward to God during the devotional time.

Anyway, yes we do provide tax deductible donation reciepts or paperwork that is needed.

Thanks and God bless.
